Duquesa and Surrounding Area

McFarlane Sales & Lettings have a number of luxury 2 bedroom apartments in the exclusive marina resort of Duquesa, Southern Spain, approximately 20km south of Marbella and 25 km North of Gibraltar.

Duquesa Marina is one of the prettiest and unspoilt marinas on the Costa Del Sol. There is good access from both Gibraltar and Malaga via old coastal and new toll roads. The beautiful town of Estepona and the famed Adalucian 'white villages' of Gaucin and Casares are also just a short drive away along with Puerto Banus the famous millionaires play ground. A real must to see with its amazing yachts, cars, restaurants and high class boutiques.

The apartments themselves are situated on the beach front and adjacent to the picturesque palm fringed marina with its bistros, bars, restaurants and shops, along with stunning communal pools. Just a short drive takes you to some of the most beautiful and well known golf courses in Europe. Their central location also allows easy access to family interests like Selwo Animal Park and towns such as Rhonda, Seville and Malaga, even Africa is only a short boat trip away, making the apartments ideal for families, golfers, sailors and sun seekers alike.

Duquesa Marina

The coastline itself, full of natural splendour, extends for 161 km and its various beaches range from huge expanses of golden sand to hidden coves with secluded bays. These sunny coast beaches are of a high standard and have extensive services which have been recognised by the European Union under the blue flag system.

Golf

There are over 50 Golf courses along the Costa del Sol coastline and the area surrounding Duquesa boasts some of the best golf courses in Europe including Valderama, which hosted the 1997 Ryder Cup, as well as the American Express Match Play Championships. Other top class Golf Courses includes Sotogrande, San Rogue, Real Club du Golf and La Canada. Situated more locally are the superb courses at Estepona, Los Naranjos, La Quinta and Las Brisas. These tend to be less crowded and better value than those courses nearer to Marbella and offer a great variety for the novice and more experienced golfer alike.

Weather

The Costa del Sol benefits from exceptionally good Mediterranean weather. Average summer temperatures usually exceed 25 degrees and August temperatures regularly exceeding 35 degrees. With an average of more than three hundred cloudless days a year, there are endless hours to enjoy the beaches whatever time of year you visit.

Accommodation

The luxury accommodation comprises of one double bedroom (some en-suite) and one twin bedroom with family bathroom. Living area comprises of a kitchen and utility along with a lounge/dining area which leads onto either a balcony or terrace. All apartments are fully furnished to the highest standard and fully equipped to provide a completely care free holiday.

Deposit

To reserve desired dates a holding fee of £100 would be required as soon as possible. This would keep your dates free and be refunded to you on your return, less any damage costs.
