Spring is just around the corner! |

While we are sure you will all agree the winter months are great for snuggling up on the sofa, getting cosy and warm, we feel we are just about ready to come out of hibernation and start enjoying the warmer weather that spring brings with it.

We’ll soon start to see the beautiful daffodils and tulips emerging, bluer skies and longer days. But what can you do get your home ready to sell or let this spring?

First impressions count.

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, first impressions count so if you’ve been putting off digging up those weeds or giving your front gate a fresh lick of paint then now is the time to do so.

If you fancy adding a bit of colour to the front of your house why not add some planters or hanging baskets too.

Time for a spring clean?

It’s time to have sort through your home and have a good de-clutter. First of all you don’t want to be taking unwanted items with you when you move, so de-cluttering in advance will save you time in the long run. Having less stuff dotted around the house will also make it easier for cleaning too.

You can also let some extra light into your home by giving your windows a clean, inside and out, and don’t forget to open them to let some fresh air flow through your home, making it feel inviting.

Freshen things up.

Now we aren’t suggesting you paint your home from top to bottom - who has time for that? But a fresh lick of paint here and there will help tired or dirty walls look appealing again. Give the grout on any tiled areas, such as bathrooms and kitchen splash backs, a really good clean. It’s amazing how much of a difference this can make.

It’s the little things

It’s time to finish all those odd jobs that you’ve been meaning to do. If you’ve got a broken light bulb, wobbly door handle or leaky tap, doing these small repairs can help sell or let your home.
