We see the sixth consecutive month for house price records

Continuing supply issues see sixth consecutive house price record

Despite an increase in the number of properties entering the market, house prices in the UK are continuing to rise. The most recent Rightmove data indicates that a sixth straight price record was set this month, with prices increasing by 0.4% (+£1,354) to £369,968 (Rightmove)

Rightmove says: Having more new sellers this month is a win-win for the market, as these sellers will likely achieve good prices their homes given the sixth asking prices record in a row that we've now seen, which may help to explain the increase in new stock coming to the market over the last year.
